About Bloomineral

Bloomineral is building a carbon-negative materials platform based on a biomineralization process.

We take CO₂, industrial waste, and seawater and transform it into solid mineral forms that can be used in industrial materials, replacing emissions-intensive inputs with carbon-storing alternatives.

We’re an early-stage team working based primarily at LSCE in Paris-Saclay. Our current focus is simple: make the science work in real systems, and make it scale.

What you’ll do

Keep our systems running day to day.

You’ll operate and support our cultivation and biomineralization pilots, working closely with the R&D and process teams. This role sits at the interface between lab work and real systems, ensuring experiments are executed properly and operations stay stable as we scale.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain cultivation systems and pilot setups
• Monitor system performance, record data, and troubleshoot deviations
• Prepare media, reagents, and support experimental runs
• Handle samples and run basic analytical measurements
• Support installation, startup, and ongoing operation of pilot systems

Profile

• Technician-level training or MSc in biology, microbiology, environmental science, or a related field
• Hands-on experience with cultivation systems (algae, microbes, photobioreactors, or similar)
• Solid lab fundamentals (pH, conductivity, spectrophotometry, basic assays)
• Careful, reliable, and structured in how you execute and document work
