About Bloomineral

Bloomineral is building a carbon-negative materials platform based on a biomineralization process.

We take CO₂, industrial waste, and seawater and transform it into solid mineral forms that can be used in industrial materials, replacing emissions-intensive inputs with carbon-storing alternatives.

We’re an early-stage team working based primarily at FIND Climate in Nanterre, with a lab in Saclay. Our current focus is simple: make the science work in real systems, and make it scale.

What you’ll do

Help turn our systems into something that can scale.

You’ll support the design, modelling, and operation of our pilot system. The focus is on conceiving systems that are functional stable, measurable, and ready for scale.

You’ll work within our R&D team to help build physical systems with measurement and control.

Responsibilities

• Support design of reactors and fluid systems for the pilot in a shipping container as well as for tools developed for the R&D team ( CAO as well as hardcore DIY sometimes)
• Contribute to modelling (CFD, hydrodynamics, mass and heat transfer)
• Assist in automation and control (sensor integration, data acquisition, feedback loops)
• Help prepare process documentation

Profile

• Engineering student (mechanical, chemical, structural, but ideally pluridisciplinary)
• Strong fundamentals in conception, fluid dynamics, structure and electronics
• Familiar with modelling tools, CAD, or simulation environments
