About Bloomineral

Bloomineral is building a carbon-negative materials platform based on a biomineralization process.

We take CO₂, industrial waste, and seawater and transform it into solid mineral forms that can be used in industrial materials, replacing emissions-intensive inputs with carbon-storing alternatives.

We’re an early-stage team working based primarily at LSCE in Paris-Saclay. Our current focus is simple: make the science work in real systems, and make it scale.

What you’ll do

Help run the biological systems at the heart of Bloomineral's technology.

You'll work alongside our biology team to maintain marine cultures, support experiments, and keep our lab and pilot systems running smoothly. This is a highly hands-on role where reliability, attention to detail, and curiosity matter as much as technical knowledge.

You'll contribute directly to the day-to-day operation of our biomineralization tanks while gaining experience in an interdisciplinary climate technology startup.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor marine biological cultures
• Prepare media, solutions, and laboratory materials
• Perform routine measurements and sample collection
• Support experiments by following established protocols
• Record, organize, and maintain experimental data
• Help operate and maintain laboratory and pilot-scale biological systems
• Contribute to keeping the lab organized, clean, and running efficiently

Profile

• Currently pursuing a Master's (strong Bachelor’s profiles accepted) degree in biology, biotechnology, environmental science, bioengineering, marine sciences, or a related field.
